Portrait
Nicole Witzig is a 42 year old music teacher and soul singer.
Half Swiss and half Jamaican, she has been singing on stage since she was 12 years old. But music has been a major part of her life since kindergarten age. Through her close family, music became her great everyday love.
Nicole's first profession was as a Nursery Teacher. After a few years she realized that she wanted to live from music and this with children.
She did not want to miss out on her own performances and so one of her first highlights was to record a professional CD at Powerplay Studio Muur (Album: Ready Fly from 2008).
She composed four of the 12 songs herself and wrote the lyrics.
Part from her daily work as a music teacher, choir director and singing teacher, Nicole has already given many weddings and her own concerts. she's avalable for company events, birthday parties, baptisms and funerals.
Presently Nicole is accompanied by a guitarist for her engagements.
On the big 'Happy Day' stage SRF, her year started very successful (Watch the show).
She looks forward to more wonderful experiences!
